177,000 miles with no problems!

We have owned it for 8 years, bought a lease turn in. 177,000 miles with no problems! Regular maintenance by the factory recommendations and it just keeps going. Front wheel hubs are the only items outside normal maintenance listed in the manual. Car never once stranded us. Only caution is not all Saturn years are created equal. Saturn sourced major parts from different suppliers in different years, do your research, this Vue has the V6 and Auto. I think 2004 and earlier have a different engine/trans, don't get one of those without checking it out. - 5.0

I have owned 20+ cars in my life. This one has given me years of service and reliability. I can understand why GM stopped making them. They lasted toooo long. I am considering replacing the engine if and when it finally goes instead of buying new. The only drawback I have with it is that the buckets are not comfortable on long trips and the gas milage never went above 24. With a six cylinder that isn't too bad. So far I have over 225000 miles on the car-mostly freeway miles up and down 95 on the east coast. - 5.0

I have had my 2004 Saturn Vue V-6 AWD with the great Honda V-6 in it since day one and I have NEVER been disappointed with this vehicle. I guess I am one of the fortunate ones because all I have ever done to this vehicle are brakes, tires, and oil changes and a transmission fluid flush. This has been, by far, the most reliable, trust-worthy vehicle and I wish I could go back and buy another one cause I would. It now has almost 222,000 miles on it and it just now needs new sway bars, an ABS sensor and a differential coupling. I am giving it up, sad to say, but I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a great AWD, vehicle.
